My mission is to be a positive influence on the people in my circle – my kids, my friends and family, my clients. And to improve the lives of those around me.
As an entrepeneur,
as a father,
and as a human being –
I’m guided by there three simple words:
Be, Do, Love.
Be the best
version of yourself.
I’ve learned that it’s not my shining moments that have made me who I am. Not earning an MBA. Not making “celebrity” appearances on TV. Not even building a successful business – although I’m legitimately proud of all those things.
In truth, it’s the mistakes, the missteps, and the failures that have offered the greatest opportunities for growth and powerful clarity.
Who I am – gifts, foibles, wins, losses – they’re all an invitation to transformation. They’re my seedbed for becoming the best version of myself.
In my professional life, that means getting clear on what I can do well and what I cannot do well. It means letting go of those things that aren’t for me and instead dedicating myself whole-heartedly to those things that allow my talents and natural abilities to shine, so I can get better results with the most efficient use of energy.
Do good work.
This is the attitude I strive toward in all I do: Do the most good.
I’m at my very best when my choices and my actions align with who I am, when I dedicate my time to what is most important and where I can have the greatest positive impact.
I have two amazing daughters. They are the most important people in my life and they are the most important job I have. The work I do and the role I play in the lives of my children is the greatest opportunity to have the largest impact on society as a whole. It is the hardest and most rewarding work I do.
In my work life, I seek to align with partners, people, and projects where I can have the greatest impact and support others in doing the most good. Specifically, I’m drawn towards projects related to with education, coaching, technology, travel, fitness, and helping service providers of any industry build and sustain clientele that they love.
Love and serve others.
I love my life. I have the opportunity to live with passion and purpose. I get to work on what matters, and for the most part, I am privileged to get to do whatever I want. My social and work circles are incredible and make me feel like the luckiest man on earth.
Out of gratitude for how much I have, I try to serve in all areas of my life.
I don’t always succeed, but I progress.
I try to be loving and kind in all my interactions.
I fail constantly, but I improve.
Each day I try to bring love and service into what I do – whether it’s parenting, consulting, teaching, or helping others to be the best versions of themselves.
